Give a man a fish, he'll be hungry next day.  Teach a man to fish . . . well, he'll become a fisherman.  So the same goes when you give a man an ADAT 8 track machine, and he will spend so much time trying to understand anything about how it works, and what the damn thing is and what it does. 

 

Dogs howl and cats arch their back when they hear what the end result is when it comes out the speaker!  Such is the price they have to pay to have otherwise benevolent masters that do love them.
